I chose an alliance with the Chosokabe, since they're already friendly with me. Anyways, it was all going fine, establishing trade and taking out the christian factions to the north, ultimately taking the island of Kyushu, when I came to the first major decision: start a war with the Chosokabe, take Shikoku and advance on Kyoto from there, or go the northern route and take all the provinces in western Honshu, use the Chosokabe as a shield, and then take the capital. I used the Darthmod 5.0 'Final Edition', as I am a huge fan of modded tw games. The campaign difficulty was set to normal (I believe) and battle difficulty to hard (I'm not an expert tw player, plz don't judge). So I started a campaign as the Shimazu in the main game, as I hadn't played the game for a while and neither the faction.
